Bushido ‘Way of The Warrior’ Ginju Genshu Premium Sake by Kizakura Shuzo Brewery. ABV 18%

(caveat emptor: I am in no way an expert in Sake, I just taste them as I see them… or drink them.) 

purchased at LeClair’s General Store Fayetteville, NC

Appearance: Pours clear filtered

Aroma: floral with distinct notes honey suckle and light vanilla

Taste: Asian pear, light banana (almost circus peanut candy), dry woody finish with a slight spice finish.

Body: Thin but full mouthfeel with a slight alcohol burn

Overall: To me this Sake was quite enjoyable with an essence of sweet but far from syrupy or dessert sweet.
