Trinity Brew Certifiably Malchus Bourbon Barrel-Aged Naked Biere De Garde- 9% ABV 35 IBU

Appearance: Dark amber to brown ale with an ample khaki/off-white head

Aroma: funky sour notes with bourbon, vanilla, caramel  and sour fruit

Taste: Sour mash bourbon, vanilla, hints of sour cherry, bready and sweet but dry at the finish slightly boozy

Body: moderate mouthfeel with moderately aggressive carbonation

Overall: Trinity does a great job with Sour and Wild Ales. This one was tart with full dark fruits and rich maltiness. The bourbon seems to stand out far more on the taste then on the nose, but all in all, a delightful ale.
