Clown Shoes Porcine Unidragon American Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels- 12.5% ABV

Appearance: glossy dark black body with a khaki colored head, quickly fading but mild lacing down the glass

Aroma: dark chocolate, a little smoky bite, vanilla bourbon & caramel sweetness

Taste: dark chocolate, slight sweet cream and caramel, vanilla bourbon, smooth on the finish with lasting woody smoked malt dryness

Body: medium body and carbonation with a smooth dry finish

Overall: I do love the Clown Shoes big beer. Of the other Unidragon’s that I have had this is by far the smoothest and least biting. The smoky finish coupled with sweet bourbon is a nice finish but I wish there was more bourbon on the end. This is still a Unidragon, but he’s been kind of been domesticated.
